Stocks in Saudi Arabia ended lower on Sunday, driven by losses in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment, and Real Estate Development sectors.

At the close, the Tadawul All Share index dropped 0.05%.

Mutakamela Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8040) was the top performer, gaining 9.74%, or 1.60 points, to reach 18.02. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) followed, rising 8.55%, or 1.26 points, to close at 16.00. Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100) also saw a gain of 7.71%, or 1.28 points, closing at 17.88.

On the downside, Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) was the biggest loser, falling 7.50%, or 4.30 points, to end at 53.00. Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) dropped 5.77%, or 1.80 points, to close at 29.40, while CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) declined 4.26%, or 2.40 points, to 54.00.

Declining stocks outpaced advancing ones by 160 to 150, with 31 stocks remaining unchanged.

In commodities, March crude oil prices fell 0.27%, or 0.20, to $72.53 per barrel. Brent oil for April delivery dropped 0.29%, or 0.22, to $75.67 per barrel. Gold futures for April saw a decline of 0.36%, or 10.20, trading at $2,835.00 per ounce.

EUR/SAR weakened by 0.26%, ending at 3.89, while USD/SAR remained steady at 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.55%, reaching 108.22.
